The United Academy provides a progressive or systematic soccer training environment for enthusiastic and motivated U8 through U10 players.  The Academy is structured to create a culture where technical skill, creativity, and flair are celebrated.  The technical base (ball mastery) that each Academy player aquires is the foundation for their future success and enjoyment of the game as these players graduate into the FC United Premier Team Program. 

 All U9-U10 players must attend tryouts in May to be eligible for Academy team play (see the tryout/registration section for more details).  United Academy teams compete in our Academy rotation and the competetion is at a higher level of play from the recreational teams.  Practices are held twice a week with highly qualified coaches who have been selected by DOC Josh Braun for their playing and coaching experience, understanding of the game and the coaching licenses that they have obtained.  

Although the number of practices a week is the same, the level of commitment is higher to ensure that your child is consistently placed in an environment to maximize their technical and tactical development.  The United Academy is a one year commitment.
