ACSC Mentorship Program
Ancient City Soccer Club has established Mentor Coaches to work with coaches and teams from the U6-U12 age groups. Each mentor coach is appointed by DOC Josh Braun with the Board’s approval. They work hand in hand with the DOC in providing effective lessons that coincide with the ACSC Model for Development so that each child systematically learns the valuable tools needed to be a successful soccer player as they get older. Each mentor brings a unique set of skills (personality, high level of playing experience, coaching experience, and coaching licenses) interconnected to the specific age group that they are working with in the Ancient City Soccer family. The Mentorship Program accomodates coaches from a wide variety of soccer backgrounds-from those with no soccer experience, to the coach who has both played the game and has prior experience coaching.
