Ancient City Soccer Club is an organization of players, coaches, parents, and friends of the game of soccer who are dedicated to the development of players and coaches to their highest potential. ACSC was established to provide an unparalleled personal growth experience through the game of soccer and to promote a life-long love for the sport. Our aim is to utilize the sport of soccer to foster strong personal relationships and an appreciation for cultural and ethnic diversity, and as a classroom for imparting life’s important values of character, discipline, commitment, teamwork, respect, and fair play.
ACSC Summer Skills Camp!!!!
Summer Skills Camp Dates are June 16th-20th and August 4th-8th. Take part in our Goalkeeper Training Camp during the June 16th-20th camp that us open to goalkeepers who are between 11-18. Camp is open to ages 4-18 and will be from 9am-12pm each day. The cost for one week is $125. 08-09 Tryout Information
Tryouts are for those wishing to play on a St Augustine United Premier or Classic Team. These teams are formed by tryout only, compete against premier and classic teams from other local clubs (Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Gainesville) and are a higher level of play from the recreational teams. Practices are held twice a week with highly qualified coaches who have been selected by DOC Josh Braun for their playing and coaching experience, understanding of the game and the coaching licenses that they have obtained. Although the number of practices a week is the same, the level of commitment is higher to ensure that your child is consistently placed in an environment to maximize their technical and tactical development. All Premier and Classic Teams will participate in a Labor Day Soccer Tournament in Jacksonville and may participate in Region Cup or State Cup competitions in the Spring of 09. There is an added cost for the uniform (between $50-$100) as well as a training fee ($60-$120 per season) that allows the club to provide each team with a high quality coach to ensure proper development. Under 14 Girls Premier: Thursday, May 29th: 7-9pm at Treaty Park/Saturday, May 31st: 12pm-2pm at Gamble Rogers.
Under 15 Premier: Tuesday, May 27th/Thursday, May 29th. 6-7:30pm at St Augustine High School.
